New Art Writing Challenge Winners
The St.Claire and the Artblog are ecstatic to announce the winners of the New Art Writing Challenge. The challenge generated over 70 unique pieces of writing all examining and engaging art in Philadelphia. Look for the writings of these finalists and prize winners to be published soon on the St. Claire and Artblog.
While the challenge is over the real task is just beginning: to keep writing; to keep responding; to keep probing, giving, and sharing until the conversation is as complex, multi-tonal, and unblinking as the art it addresses. To that end, CONGRATULATIONS to all the writers, THANK YOU to our judges – Nell McClister, Abigail Satinsky, and Hrag Vartanian, and GIDDY UP to all those pens and keyboards.
