In response to the recent publication of “Class Dismissed” (PDF below) we will be hosting a public discussion to grapple with issues of labor, schooling, underemployment, the agendas motivating an art education and the tricky coupling of “over-professionalization”
Join us to discuss these issues as they effect our lives as artists, educators, employees, and employers. We will consider our own relevant experiences in relation to broader socioeconomic conditions and work toward imagining future possibilities.
